London and Hollywood, CA, December 13, 2017 – Kids’ and family entertainment specialists CAKE, distributors of the hit space-themed animated series Ready Jet Go!, and Wind Dancer Films, the company behind the award-winning show, are launching Season 2 of the popular series internationally. In addition, broadcast partners in the UK, Latin America, Asia, and beyond have signed on to air Season 1 of the series in their respective territories.
The new season of 24 half-hour episodes and an hour-long special, which premiered on PBS KIDS in the U.S. in August, brings the total number of 11-minute stories to 129. A collection of web games and mobile apps accompany the second season, with licensed toys and other products set to launch in the U.S. next year.

CAKE has secured new Ready Jet Go! broadcast partnerships with BT and Virgin Media (UK), Fox/Nat Geo Kids (Latin America) and WeKids (Asia), among others. These broadcasters join ABC (Australia), BBC Kids and Knowledge Network (Canada), YLE (Finland), NRK (Norway), SIC Television (Portugal), and MBC (Middle East), which have already aired Season 1 of the series.
In the last year, Ready Jet Go! has reached 31.6 million viewers in the U.S., including 9.2 million kids on linear TV,* and the series’ content has been streamed more than 200 million times since its premiere.** In addition to airing on PBS stations, full-length segments from Ready Jet Go! are available for streaming on pbskids.org and on the free PBS KIDS Video app on a variety of mobile devices as well as on platforms such as Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, Xbox One, and Chromecast. Ready Jet Go! is also available on Amazon Prime Video.
Ready Jet Go! follows Jet Propulsion, the new kid in town and an alien from outer space who along with his Earth friends, Sean and Sydney, embarks on astronomical adventures exploring the solar system while learning about friendship and teamwork along the way. Using inventive visuals and upbeat songs to engage, entertain and make young viewers laugh and learn, Ready Jet Go! aims to inspire an interest in astronomy, earth science and technology in 3-8 year olds.
