Aesop is a friendly wolf who happens to be the leader of a traveling theater group. Aesop writes and directs the plays, which are performed as they travel from town to town. Among the members of his drama company are a would-be writer fox called Presy, some mischievous pigs and a tough little rabbit called Libbit.

At first, they do not always get along that well, since they have to live together in a cramped carriage. However, while spending time working together in the theater, they get to know and understand each other.

To a new audience, these will be funny new adventures in an enchanting visual world.

Others may recognize tales that have been told for over 2000 years and are attributed to another Aesop.
